We are excited to announce a new marketing collaboration with Habbo X, the upcoming game from the creators of Habbo Hotel that focuses on community building, interoperability, and play-and-earn mechanics. This collaboration between Kryptomon and Azerion brings together two of the most exciting and innovative companies in the web3 gaming industry and will provide players with exciting events to earn unique rewards and have fun.

To mark the launch of our mobile AR treasure hunt game, “Pink Moon”, we have teamed up with HabboX to celebrate big (and in 2D pixel style!). As part of the collaboration, we will be featuring Habbo in the upcoming edition of the monthly “Pink Moon” event, a treasure hunt experience powered by AR where participants play as “trainers” using the GPS location in their mobile devices to find nearby in-game items. During this special event, participants will be able to obtain exclusive co-branded t-shirts, hoodies, and an NFT version of the co-branded hoodie. These items are in addition to the regular prizes offered during the monthly event.

When will the Kryptomon x HabboX Pink Moon Treasure Hunt event take place?

The Kryptomon x HabboX Pink Moon Treasure Hunt experience will start on Sunday 5th of February at 3 PM UTC and end on Tuesday 7th of February at 3 PM UTC.

How can I join this special-edition Pink Moon event?

If you are coming from the Habbo community, make sure to secure your spot at the official landing page: www.kryptomon.co/habbo before the 1st of February at 22.00 UTC and have installed the Pink Moon mobile app on Google PlayStore and through Apple’s Testflight.

If you are a Kryptomon player, you can join the event as how you join any other Pink Moon event, easy-peasy.

Join the After Party at Habbo’s Metaverse:

Habbo will bring Kryptomon players to its community of avid gamers, introducing us to their immersive world with a dedicated “Kryptomon-style” After Party Room hosted in their metaverse.

The event takes place on Tuesday 7th of February from 18:00 to 20:00 UTC.

Trainer Hub Update: Version 1.2 Now Live

The KMON Trainer Hub has just released version 1.2, packed with exciting new features and bug fixes. This update focuses on improving user experience by introducing a more intuitive menu layout and the addition of the new KMON Classification System. Additionally, users can now earn $KMON by renting out their Kryptomons through our partner marketplace, Playdex and manage their rentals effortlessly through the dedicated Playdex tab on the menu. Let's take a closer look at the new features that are here to make your Kryptomon journey a ten.

Bug Fixes

We've worked hard to fix all the bugs that have been reported by our community members (thank you Trainers!), and we're proud to say that the new version is more stable than ever. But that's not all - we've also added some new features that we think our players will love.

Earn $KMON by Renting Out Your Kryptomons

‍

One of the most exciting new features in version 1.2 is the possibility to rent out your Kryptomons through our partner’s Marketplace, Playdex. Now, when you rent a Kryptomon, it will be shown as rented in Playdex. This makes it easier than ever to keep track of your rented Kryptomons.

In addition to Playdex integration itself, soon you will be able to find a dedicated Playdex tab on the menu. This means that you will be able to access your Playdex Kryptomon for rent and rented ones with just one click, and you won't have to navigate through multiple menus/tabs to get there.

We know that our users love their Kryptomons, and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to manage your collections.

New Menu Layout

Last but not least, we've updated the menu layout to make it more user-friendly. We've listened to our player's feedback, and we've made some changes to make the Trainer Hub even easier to use. The new menu layout is more intuitive and streamlined, so you can find what you're looking for faster.

New Kryptomon Classification system

Kryptomons are now classified into the following categories: 

1. Rookie
2. Veteran
3. Elite

To categorize the parameters, the star system is used for easy understanding of their strength.

New Sorting and filter for Kryptomons and game assets

Kryptomons are now sorted on the Hub based on the classification mentioned above. Another addition is that in-game items also now support being filtered based on their categories, for example, Armor, Power-ups, Clothing, Consumables, and Miscellaneous.

Lend or Rent Kryptomons on Playdex Marketplace

As a Kryptomon owner, it is now possible to list your Kryptomons on our partner marketplace for blockchain gaming: Playdex.io  With this new possibility, you’ll be able to receive some $KMON from your Kryptomons even while you aren’t using them. Not to mention, you’ll also facilitate new players with the opportunity to try out our game.

So why wait? Join the new wave of blockchain gamers by listing your Kryptomons on Playdex’s Marketplace or rent one and start playing straightaway. The price to rent a Kryptomon is already starting from $0.03 cents p day!

How to list your Kryptomon for rent

1. Go to the Kryptomon Trainer Hub
2. Log in with your Metamask Wallet or create an account
3. Go to the Rental tab on the Trainer Hub and connect your wallet to Playdex’s Marketplace
4. Click “lend NFT”
5. Approve the Playdex contract
6. Choose the Kryptomon you’d like to lend
7. Set a daily rental rate, currency, and maximum rental duration (minimum 1 day)
8. Accept the transaction
9. If someone rents your Kryptomon, you will get notified.

How to rent a Kryptomon, and start playing:

1. Go to the Kryptomon Trainer Hub
2. Log in with your Metamask Wallet or create an account
3. Go to the Rental tab on the Trainer Hub and connect your wallet to Playdex’s Marketplace
4. Choose the Kryptomon you’d like to rent.
5. Click “rent asset”.
6. Accept the transaction
7. Go to play and log in with the trainer hub username and password

Is Playdex's smart contract audited?

Playdex’s smart contract has undergone a successful private audit, and a public audit is currently underway. However, it’s always a good idea to take extra safety measures when interacting with smart contracts in general.

Are there any limitations to renting Kryptomons?

In general, the capabilities are the same. It will give access to all our games (Kryptomon: Genesis and Kryptomon: Pink Moon), earn rewards and compete in Kryptomon Game Nights. But because you don't own it, it’s not possible to:

• Sell, transfer, breed, or evolve the Kryptomon
• Get exclusive roles on our Discord Server

‍When do I get paid if i rent out my Kryptomon?

 
‍Straight after someone rents it successfully. The renter has to pay the whole amount (days x daily price) upfront.

‍Will Kryptomons freeze in the Playdex wallet?

‍
‍Since Kryptomons are living creatures, they will freeze. But to offer a good player experience all Kryptomons that are being rented will be unfrozen if they log in to the game within 48 hours.

Will Kryptomons leave my wallet when I list them for rent?

‍

‍Yes. When you list your Kryptomon for rent, it will be transferred to the secure wallet of Playdex Marketplace. (Remember the good old days of Mochi Marketplace?). If you unlist, it will go back to your wallet.

Is renting the same as the scholarship model?
‍

‍No. In scholarship, there is a split in rewards people make while using someone else NFT. With renting it’s split. The one who is lending gets a rental fee. The renter receives all rewards.

Monetize Your Time While Having Fun: Earning Possibilities in the KMON Ecosystem

The KMON Ecosystem offers more than just an immersive and fun game experience - it provides players with numerous opportunities to win digital collectibles (NFTs) and even earn $KMON, the game's native cryptocurrency. All rewards are based on a skill-based revenue share model. It takes the total number of players that achieved a certain objective/milestone in a week based on the total revenue of that week. Daily free loot boxes:

• To upkeep Kryptomons, every 24 hours collect free loot boxes filled with valuable items that help you take care of your Kryptomons.

Weekly Quests ($):

• Earn $KMON coins for completing Quest 5 and 10.
• Earn caring items and training tickets from other quests.
• Get one random boost token bound NFT for completing Quest 10, which helps in crafting non-bound Powerup NFTs.

The Dojo:

• Try your skills against bots and earn Star Training Tickets which help in the instant training of Kryptomons.

Story Challenge ($$):

• $KMON:

1. Earn micro $KMON amount from Chapters 4,5 and 6.
2. Earn a small $KMON amount from Random Normal Mode.
3. Earn a medium $KMON amount from Random Normal Mode and Random Hero Mode.
4. Earn a large sum of $KMON from Random Hero Mode.

• Armor Scraps:

Scraps help you to craft a full armor that you can use in the game to improve your Kryptomons or can sell to other players on the KMON Marketplace. More info in the Academy.

KMON: Pink Moon Event

“During each month’s full moon, go out and hunt in your city with some AR goggles”

The Pink Moon Event is the monthly KMON event where players get to go outside and using the KMON: Pink Moon mobile app, look for mystery boxes that contain valuable items. Occasionally, these events are celebrated together with partner brands in which, if you are lucky, you can get exclusive digital and/or physical items.

• If you're lucky then you can find a random $KMON amount from one of the mystery boxes in the Pink Moon Event.

NFTs
